The Puerto Rican artist is nominated in four categories for the third edition of the Heat Awards.

Playa Juanillo in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, will host the big Latin party promising the third installment of the Heat Latin Music Awards, in which Farruko will be one of the great talents present on the 2017 stage.

Since the beginning of Farruko’s career, social networks have been the platforms of dissemination that have allowed him to enter the commercial scene and reach its popularity. His first song “Sex Off the Planet” published on MySpace, put him on the radar of Latin urban music shooting his career. During his artistic career he has collaborated with Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, José Feliciano, Nicky Jam, Shaggy, Ñengo Flow, among other artists.

He has also released songs with J Balvin as “Passion Whine” and “6AM”, with which he has positioned himself in the Top Latin Songs – Urban Dominican Republic ranking of Monitor Latino. In addition, his single “Lejos de Aquí” has occupied the first five places of the list Top Latin Songs – United States. His latest album “TrapxFicante” promoted through the account @trapxficanteofficial, shows a new facet of the artist to be recharged of the current genre sensation among the reggaetoneros: the trap. In his musical innovation, Farruko has been accompanied by such professionals as Frank Miami, Sharo Torres, Rome, Mambo Kingz, DJ Luian, Maffio, Lil Geniuz, Ladkani …

In this 2017, Farruko tops the list of nominees in the third edition of Awards Heat when participating in four categories. The Puerto Rican artist is nominated for Best Video with his single Chillax, as well as Best Male Artist, Best Urban Artist, and Best Northern Region Artist. The singer of urban genre was awarded the latter category in the second edition.
